Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia
Right ventricular dysplasia refers to a spectrum of abnormalities that are characterized by abnormal fatty tissue within the muscular wall of the right ventricle. In mild cases, it causes no symptoms. In severe cases, it can cause
  1. monomorphic ventricular tachycardia that is usually resistant to antiarrhythmic medications and to radiofrequency ablation, requiring implantation of a cardioverter-defibrillator.
  2. congestive heart failure
